NEW CONCORD — Tom Daugherty & Lee Patton, representing the Norwich Masonic Lodge, were recognized by the East Muskingum Local Board of Education recently.

BARNESVILLE — The Barnesville Fire Department celebrated the accomplishments of two new firefighters recently.
Kylie Kernan và Robert Stover both completed their probationary period with the department và were awarded their đen helmets.
To become a firefighter, one must meet the basic age requirements, meet education requirements, be in good physical condition, stay out of trouble, be mindful of social media, fiscal responsibility, be involved in the community, pass a written exam, pass a psychological evaluation, graduate from the fire academy, & pass the interview.

Rhythm and Brews Festival coming khổng lồ St. Clairsville
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The 2022 Rhythm & Brews Festival is coming to lớn St. Clairsville this Saturday.

Giant Pumpkin Parade entries sought
BARNESVILLE — With less than a month until the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival, organizers are currently accepting entries for the Giant Pumpkin Parade which is set for Saturday, Sept. 24 in the village.
There is no entry fee but the length of the entry must be known at the time of sign-up, as well as the number of walkers.
Categories for the parade include: Tractor, horse, group, royalty, auto, float or pumpkin.
Those participating in the parade also agree to lớn distribute candy, pamphlets và any other materials by hand to lớn parade spectators. Failure to vị so will disqualify the unit from judging và may result in suspension of future parade participation.
